Chris Mercer

C hris is President/ Owner of Mercer Funeral Home, Inc. along with being a licensed funeral director and embalmer.  Chris graduated from Holton High School in 1983, attended Kansas University, Washburn University, and received his mortuary science degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College.  Chris has been in the funeral business since 1988.  He is a member of the Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton, served on Jackson County Friends of Hospice Board since 1991, past President of Holton Lions Club, past board member of Jackson County Training Center, President of Holton Cemetery Board, member of Kansas Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, Friends of Downtown, and the Holton Chamber of Commerce.  Chris his wife Tracy, and their three children, Kaleb, Grant, and Megan reside just north of Holton, KS.  You can contact Chris at the Mercer Funeral Home, via email at mfh@embarqmail.com or by phone 785-364-2626.
