Richard Shove

R ichard is a funeral director and embalmer for Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. He graduated from Havensville High School in 1942 and graduated from the College of Mortuary Science at St. Louis in 1946. Richard has continuously served in the funeral business for 60 years. He has worked for three generations of the Mercer family for nearly 40 of those years. Richard is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Holton. He is also a member of the Kansas Funeral Directors Association, American Legion Post #44 and the Masonic Lodge in Holton.
